Henry O'Brien

Henry O’Brien was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2019.
His areas of practice include conveyancing, wills and estates, property law, debt recovery, family law, commercial litigation and criminal law.
​
Henry has acted for clients in personal injury and workers compensation matters and is an IRO‑approved lawyer.
​
He has also represented legally aided clients and remains committed to promoting access to justice within the community.
​
Henry previously served as the Young Lawyers Delegate for the Southern Tablelands Law Society.
​
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of New South Wales and a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney. He has also completed a Certificate in Adjudication under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (Queensland).
Jennifer Pierno

Jennifer Pierno has been a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales for over forty-five years.
​
Her experience spans conveyancing and property law, commercial law, family law, estates and general litigation. Throughout her career, she has operated her own legal practice, worked for government departments including the NSW Department of Housing and the NSW Department of Water Resources, and lectured in law at university level.
​
Jennifer has also worked as an in-house lawyer, with experience extending internationally to India and Mexico. More recently, she has acted as Sydney agent for a firm representing a major Australian bank.
She holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and a Master of International Law from the University of Technology Sydney and is the Vice-President of the Berrima District Law Society.

Lauren O'Brien is the Office Manager at Highlands Legal Centre, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative and client services.
As a key point of contact for clients, Lauren manages client communications, accounts, administration, and the firm's digital presence. She works closely with the legal team to ensure clients receive a professional, organised, and welcoming experience from their initial enquiry through to the completion of their matter.
Lauren holds a Diploma of Business and is a qualified Justice of the Peace. With a diverse professional background spanning business management, client relations, and business operations, she brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to her role.
Lauren is committed to maintaining the high standards of service that Highlands Legal Centre prides itself on, ensuring both clients and the legal team feel supported throughout every stage of the process.
